Willy-Nilly Wednesday

Willy-Nilly: in a disorganized, or unplanned manner; sloppily.

I wanted to google willy nilly just to make sure I knew what it meant before I used it as my blog post title. I'll go with "unplanned manner" rather than disorganized or sloppily for my post today. I would call it purely random, but I like alliteration so it had to start with "W" ;)

-To be honest, I thought it was Thursday and almost called my post "Thursday Thoughts". Creative, I know! Then I realized it was Wednesday so that explains the title

-This week is going by so slow and I absolutely LOVE it. My last week of real vacation before my real job starts (I worked a week and then they took 2 weeks vacation)

- In hinds sight I wish I went somewhere for the most of the summer, but there was always the chance (and hope) of getting a call-in job as well as more hours at my sports store job. I could have been living it up in California for the summer;) I'm sure Kenny would have loved that; me emptying his bank account while I sit on a beach and surf the waves all summer.

-I discovered a great Antique store in the North End and they have a pile of retro Pyrex dishes and Fire King mugs. I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up choosing a Pyrex butter dish with a print my Grandma used to have for her dishes.

-We gave Maggie (our cat) a home-made lion cut. We decided to save $60 and do it ourselves. I tell ya, it looks pretty choppy and professional cute.

Please still be my friend even though you saw this picture... and feel free to laugh at her. I still chuckle when I see her walking around sporting her 'do.

-I'm going to my first wedding of the summer in 2 weeks. I'm excited to go, it's one of Kenny's co-workers.

-I've been up since 4:45 today. I forgot to put $$ in my account for my student loan and left around 5:00 to go and do that. I'm thinking a nap will be in my near future...

-Two of my sister in laws and I went to the zoo yesterday with the little nephews. I saw a meerkat and a lemur. A real-life Timon from Lion King and King Julien from Madagascar. Disney has changed my life.

-I did this hill workout last night from Losingweightinthecity.com It was tough, hills definitely are not my forte. They will be soon.
