Our city has a Busker Festival every summer that lasts for about 12 days. It's a summer staple for us to go downtown and see some acts. This year we met some Church friends as well as Kenny's brother and wife for some shows.
We must be getting old because our backs were really sore after sitting on the bleachers for 5 hours and I had to go to the Chiropractor the next morning. No laughing at me, please.
This post is kind of dedicated to my husband, Kenny because he got hand picked by a spunky, cute Australian contortionist to participate in her skit.
P.S I want her accent.
Here's how it looked:
looking not so sure of this.
Hahaha! Kenny had to dance! This is a guy who refuses to dance with me at all cost.
So, needless to say, I enjoyed watching this take place.
They had to put abs on and cart her around.
I can't believe I didn't take a photo, but she bent her body into this tiny box:
Seriously, she fit into that little box and closed the cover over it.
Unbelievable!
It makes it that much more fun when you know the person who is participating in a skit. Nothing like my all time favorite Mexican Chocolate ice-cream to top off a Friday night. I'm seriously addicted to this stuff... it's local, so it's sugar free, right?
Questions:
Have you ever been to a busker-type festival?
Participated?? I'm usually towards the back; nice and safe from the pickers!

I've atually never even heard of a "busker" festival until now!!! It looks like fun though!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG that is craziness! I LOVE that your husband had to dance...my BF refuses to dance with me too so I would LOVE that :)
