Anniversary Recap

5 years! Kenny and I celebrated our anniversary with a 'stay-cation' this year. We hit up hotwire and got a good deal on one of the nicer hotels in the city here. We ate at our favourite restaurant, walked around town, picked up dessert and just chilled. It was a great weekend and here's the recap. If you missed our Friday night, here's the link

We sat and listened to part of the Jazz Festival. I didn't realize this, but I like jazz music!

The Keg. The bread to start is so doughy and delicious. I also think there is something added to the butter to make it addictive...

Caesar Salad. They used to just give you these for a starter, but they recently stopped. I almost cried when I found out so Kenny ordered me one. So cheesy and amazing. It doesn't look big here, but it fed both of us and there was a little left over. 

My meal. I asked for veggies as my side, forgetting that my chicken actually comes with veggies. The side veggies consisted of mushrooms, pretty much 1.5 zucchinis and 1 grilled red pepper. All the rest of the veggies come with the chicken. Best meal ever. See my chicken under all the veggies? 

Kenny's meal. He ordered a peppercorn NY steak with a loaded baked potato and I gave him some of my veggies.
