half marathon peek

What a weekend! My cousin, sister and I all ran in the half marathon here in the city on Sunday. It was a beautiful sunny day and a little bit on the hot side. I can always count on the long weekend in May to get my sunburn tan started.

I'll leave you with a picture and then I'll be back tomorrow after my board exam to blog again. Please remember me in your prayers tomorrow as I write my board exam at 9:00 am:)

I saw a sign yesterday during the race that said "toenails are for sissies". This is so true. In fact I need to go and find some black nail polish to match up the coloring. I thought you'd like to hear that first thing Monday morning;)

    I ran a 1 mile race and won my age group :-) A rare win and I'll take it...although I wish I would've run a long training run instead. My muscles are now sore from 1 mile!!!
